• Casing nails are intended for attaching window and door trim.
• Casing Nails-- Resemble finishing nails, but are larger in diameter, stronger and have greater holding power.
• Casing nails have tapered heads larger than a finish nail, but are still able to be countersunk and filled.
• When all adjustments are satisfactory, secure the window by driving 10d galvanized casing nails, spaced 16 inches apart, through the exterior trim into the wall.
